Gustav Rottweiler

Nearly 7 year old neutered male Rottweiler

Before NutriScan

Gustav started losing weight and literally went from 132 to 107 pounds! He had chronic diarrhea with gas rumblings in abdomen. He also had the added stress of the loss of his housemate and was reluctant to eat and play (chasing squirrels and lizards). Whenever he was taken off a turkey and sweet potato diet his bowel problem returned. The attending veterinarian confirmed Gustav had inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), so he was put on corticosteroids and Zantac before meals.

NutriScan Revealed

NutriScan testing showed reactions to chicken, corn, white fish, lentils and oatmeal.

After NutriScan

The reactive foods were removed, especially oatmeal, which he had been eating. His new diet included turkey, sweet potato, and added bison, venison and marrow bones, plus mixed vegetables. He gained back 20 pounds rapidly, had firm stools, and resumed his playing and ate eagerly.
